Northumberland’s Para badminton star Will Smith, who is a member of St Gabriels BC, recently travelled to Rotterdam, where he took part in the Para European Games, a multi-sport event.  Badminton was one of the featured sports.  Will had a very successful trip, winning a bronze medal in Men’s Singles and a silver medal in Men’s Doubles.

Will has won numerous awards, medals and trophies both in the UK and abroad since his teenage years, and he carried the Olympic Torch in 2012. He has twice been the UK Para badminton Men’s Doubles champion, and hopes to achieve further success in Glasgow in the forthcoming UK Para badminton Championships. We wish Will the best of luck.
