Northumberland’s round of the BE Under 15 Bronze circuit took place on Saturday at The Tyneside Badminton Centre.  There was an encouraging entry from our Performance Centre and Futures Squad, with 13 players out of the total of 25 entrants.  Rachel Bogan took the major honours with gold medals in all three disciplines. The Under 14 and Under 18 Restricteds were held at TBC last Sunday.  The full results can be seen on the attached spreadsheet, which has two Tabs, one for each age group.  Congratulations to the Under 18 multi-winners, Ashaf Alam and Emily Harrison, with strong runner-up performances from Jamie Tinnion, George Moran, Alex Jay and Anna Railton.  The Under 14s saw the trophies shared round a little more but the names of James and Lucy Dodd feature very prominently.  (more…)

The Under 17 Silver and Under 19 and Under 13 Bronze tournaments were held at the TBC over the weekend of 22nd/23rd October.  A considerable number of medals were won over the weekend and, as usual, many of them went down the A1(M) to Yorkshire.  (more…)
