It seems appropriate to recognise the continued success of our departed friend and former team mate, Ira Banerjee.  After all, BE’s tournament software still seems to think that she represents Northumberland rather than Hampshire!Well, the Under 15 Nationals were last weekend and Ira scored double doubles success, winning the Mixed title with Yorkshire’s Matthew Clare and the Girls Level Doubles with Shropshire’s Jessica Pugh.  She was a losing semi-finalist in the singles.

Northumberland did have two entrants in the boys events with Amit Chaudhari and Philip Pahatouridis, both still a year young.  Philip went close to winning his group but just lost the crucial match to 19.  Well done lads!
