Last Sunday saw both our U14 and U18 teams playing their counterparts from Yorkshire.  The younger team are still very inexperienced and found the going tough, losing the match 6-14: but there were a number of games which were very close and the result could have been a lot tighter.

The Under 18s produced an excellent performance in a 10-all draw, although they were to some extent aided by Yorkshire missing one of their boys.

It is hoped that fuller reports will be available in the near future – if the team managers can take a break from Chrismas preparations!

The next Shires match sees our Under 16s away to Lancashire on 5th January.
