The 2nd Tyne Team Tournament took place on Sunday 25th of November at Gateshead Leisure Centre. 10 club teams from the Northumberland Leagues fought against each other for the Tyne Team Trophy, with Elmfield Thunder eventually emerging as the winners.

Results from the recent Jesmond Dene B & D Graded Doubles tournament have now been published. They will be added to the rankings database very soon. Well done to all…

The first team played their opening County Championship match of the season at Middlesbrough BC on Sunday last and, having been relegated last year were keen to start their campaign on a positive note against their nearest neighbours Durham. Having led 3-1 after the singles, they never relinquished the lead and the match was over before the mixed at 8-4, the only disappointment being final score of 9-6, one short of a 3-0 points victory.

Results from the recent C & E Graded Doubles Tournament, have now been published. An excellent turnout of 86 players contested the tournament, and there were some excellent matches. Well done to all of the winners and a big thank you to Steve Porter and Ryan Jelley for running the tournament.
