A fuller report on this event last Sunday will follow shortly.  But our youngest team, possibly the youngest team that we have ever put out, had a great day’s trip down to Sheffield, finishing 5th of the 10 teams playing in this event.  Given that this was the first out-of-county tournament that most of the team had played in, this was a super result and the team’s manager, Karen Davison, was absolutely thrilled with their performance and the way in which they had all come together as a team.  This was also a very positive indication of the progress coming from our initiative with the Friday evening “Futures” squad.  Very well done to them all.
