The Under 19 team event took place last weekend.  The Northumberland team took two good wins against Cumbria (10 games to 5) and West of Scotland (8-7).  We also pushed Lothian and Lanark (both 6-9) rather closer than we usually do, which was very encouraging.  Although we lost 4-11 to Yorkshire that was a much closer match than the score would suggest, with 7 of the 15 games going to 3 ends.

There were a number of really promising perfomances throughout the team, several of whom were under 16 or younger.  Very well done to all!  We finished 4th of the 6 teams and Yorkshire were the overall winners.
