Northumberland Presentation Evening

This year the Northumberland Badminton Presentation Evening has a new bigger venue. It will be held on Saturday 10th May, 7.30pm at the Tyne Suite, Premier Inn, Newcastle Central, New Bridge Street West. Free parking in Oxford Street car park next door, adjacent separate bar area.

The format of the evening will be the same as usual ceilidh, bar (in a separate adjacent room), presentations, volunteer awards etc., buffet.

Tickets are £13.00 for adults and £7.00 for under 18’s.

However, as a special deal if you book tickets for 12 club members or more and NBA have both your application form and payment by the deadline of 24th April then you can have a reduced rate of £12 per ticket.

Attached is an application form, and a poster for you to advertise the event to your club members. Details are on the ticket application form for both cheque and electronic payments.

Tickets will be available to purchase from reception at Tyneside Badminton Centre or directly from Julie Brown. There is a very strict deadline for returning numbers to the venue so there is a deadline for all ticket applications to be in with money by Thursday 24th April, after all this is very advanced warning of this year’s date.

If you are block booking tickets for 12 or more please send the application directly to Julie Brown rather than go through the TBC reception desk.

Once again we intend to present the volunteer awards so if you would like to nominate someone who has worked hard for your club, or indeed another club or the Association over the years please put an application into Norma with the reason you are nominating the person – email Norma Waterfield.

In addition please can Alison Thompson have all the trophies back by the end of March, please email / phone her to arrange delivery/collection.

Please get this advertised to your club members and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the event for a good dance. You don’t need to know anything about ceilidh dancing to come along and have fun taking part. It’s nothing like Strictly so you won’t get marked on your efforts!
