Northumberland Presentation Evening

This year the Northumberland Badminton Presentation Evening will be held on Saturday 16th May, 7.30pm at the Tyne Suite, Premier Inn, Newcastle Central, New Bridge Street West (same venue as last year).  

Free parking in Oxford Street car park next door, adjacent separate bar area.

The format of the evening will be the same as usual  ceilidhbar (in a separate adjacent room), presentations, volunteer awards etc., buffet.

Tickets are £13.00 for adults and £7.00 for under 18’s.
  
Attached is an application form, and a poster for you to advertise the event to your club members. Details are on the ticket application form for both cheque and electronic payments.
 
Tickets will be available to purchase from reception at Tyneside Badminton Centre or directly from myself. If you are block booking for a club please come directly to myself. I have a very strict deadline for returning numbers to the venue so there is a  deadline for all ticket applications to be in with money by Thursday 24th April, after all once again this is very advanced warning of this year’s date. 
 

Menu will be similar to last year which I think most people agreed was quite tasty (but no pudding as premier Inn have changed their deal)
 
– Beef Chilli
– Chicken Tikka Curry
– Rice
– Chips
– Poppadums
– Lime Pickle / Yoghurt / Raita etc.
They will also provide a vegetable curry option and a non-spicy food option by request, so please let me know if there are any requests for these so I can provide the numbers (it won’t be generally available to all).
Once again we intend to present the volunteer awards so if you would like to nominate someone who has worked hard for your club, or indeed another club or the Association over the years please put a nomination to Norma with the reason you are nominating the person – email Norma Waterfield.   Think hard about this as there are a number of volunteers out there in clubs who haven’t been rewarded.
 
 
In addition please can Alison Thompson have all the trophies back by the end of March, please email / phone her to arrange delivery/collection or pass them to Julie Brown.
 
Please  get this advertised to your club members and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the event for a good dance.  You don’t need to know anything about ceilidh dancing to come along and have fun taking part, and also there is a separate bar area to sit in for those who wish to avoid the dance floor.
