As part of Badminton England’s investment into coaches and supporting their development, we are inviting all members of our Coach Accreditation Scheme to attend a Disability Badminton Workshop in the North East, FREE of charge!

This workshop is open to Level 1, 2 & 3 coaches and aims to develop coaches’ knowledge, awareness and confidence to deliver badminton sessions to a range of various impairments disabled participants might have.

The workshop aims to cover the following areas:
• Understanding movement and hitting for wheelchair badminton
• Understanding the implications for coaching badminton to disabled participants with standing lower impairments
• Understanding the implications for coaching badminton to disabled participants with standing upper impairments
• Understanding the implications for coaching badminton to short stature participants

*All learners must be aged 16 or over on the day of the workshop and hold a badminton coaching qualification.
