12 Teams and 100 players took part in the 3rd Tyne Team Tournament on Saturday, the first to be held at Tyneside Badminton Centre. Congratulations to Northumbria University for winning the trophy, defeating St Gabriels in an epic final 3-2.

Entries for the 3rd Tyne Team Tournament are now open! This is a handicap tournament with teams playing against each other in all 5 disciplines. The tournament will be either in groups or a league format depending on entry numbers, and each team will be guaranteed at least 3 matches. You will need at least 4, and preferably at least 6 players for your team.

In this first stage of entries, each club will be limited to 1 team. If there are still places available by Wednesday 30th of October, then we will open the entries to second teams.
