To find out which tournaments you can enter:

1. Find out what your grade is for each event by looking it up from the Player section

2. If your name is not listed, request a provisional grade by writing to aram@northumberlandbadminton.org

3. If your name is listed, find your grade’s column in the table below and decide which tournament you want to enter based on the guide beneath the table:

Note: In doubles, it is the grade of the highest graded player in the partnership that dictates which tournaments the partnership can be allowed to enter.

S = Singles, D = Level Doubles, Mx = Mixed Doubles

· ü = you may enter the tournament and you will only play against players of the same grade as you

· (ü) = you may enter the tournament but you will have to play against higher graded players.

· ü* = you may enter the tournament but you will play against players of any grade.

· No ticks = you cannot enter the tournament.

· County Restricted* = this competition is only open to players who were either born in Northumberland, or are current residents of Northumberland.
