Development and Coaching Sub Committee

Development

1. To work with the Northumberland Badminton Development Officers to promote and develop badminton throughout Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside
   
   
2. To work and liaise with other sub committees to promote and develop badminton for NBA
   
   
3. To liaise with Badminton England on all development issues
   
   
4. To prepare, monitor and update the NBA Development Plan and coordinate with the BE Regional Development Plan encompassing the NBA area
   
   
5. To liaise with other sub committees regarding the implementation of the NBA Development Plan 2
   
   
6. To liaise with external partners in the development of badminton throughout the NBA area, these will include LEAs, CSPs, SSPs, PDMs, etc
   
   
7. To work with the Umpires Association in the provision of a sufficient supply of umpires and other officials within the NBA area
   
   
8. To strengthen and extend the club system and structures and generally increase participation throughout the county area
   
   
9. KPI INFORMATION

Coaching

1. To work with the Coaching Coordinator, the Badminton Development Officers and the Benfield Badminton Manager/Administrator to:
   
   • Increase the provision of sufficient, suitably qualified coaches within the NBA area
     
   • Provide suitable Coach Education courses
     
   • Promote and encourage coaches to progress to higher level qualifications where appropriate
     
     
2. To work with the Coaching Association on all matters relating to coaching within the NBA area
